Truk tersebut terbalik dikarenakan mengalami pecah ban. Menurut petugas Tol Ancol, Arman, kejadian terjadi pukul 05.15 WIB. Saat itu ada sebuah truk dengan nomor polisi B 9642 BCI terbalik karena pecah ban. "Menurut pengakuan kenek truk tersebut mengalami pecah ban, lalu oleng dan terbalik," ujar Arman saat dikonfirmasi, Minggu (4/10/2014). Arman mengatakan, akibat dari kecelakaan ini sopir truk meninggal dunia. Dan sampai saat ini masih berada di lokasi. "Saat ini masih menunggu palang hitam dan sudah dalam penanganan petugas," tutupnya.
